Civil Law and Civil Litgation

Civil law — as opposed to criminal law — which most times deal with disagreements between individuals or organizations where no crime has been committed. For instance, civil law is aimed at enforcing agreements, settling disputes and righting wrongs. It also makes accommodations for compensation, if there is a victim.

It is important to note that some cases may be pursued both criminally and through civil action. Charlton and Glover can handle both kinds of cases.

We handle a wide variety of civil cases, including construction litigation, small business civil litigation, professional malpractice (including medical malpractice), personal injury, serious injury, wrongful death, collections and more.
